Sometimes Life’s Not Fair

life is not fair

If you have been following my blog, you’d know that three weeks ago I lost my mom. We spent days in ICU praying for her and then saying goodbye when we knew there was no hope of her recovering.

Now, we are feeling déjà vu. My sister-in-law Francine was rushed to the hospital yesterday. It turns out that she had been taking fertility drugs in the hopes of getting pregnant. Two weeks ago my brother Tim and Francine found out they were pregnant. Her body had an adverse affect to the fertility drugs. She began vomiting violently and had a severe headache. She was rushed to the hospital where they did a cat scan that revealed a brain bleed. As the hours progressed the bleed became many bleeds and right now every single vein in her brain has completely hemorrhaged.

There will be no recovery. No prayers for her to wake up. Now prayers are needed for Tim and for Francine’s mom. That they will be able to handle this ordeal. Especially Tim who is still grieving our mom.

Sunday would have been their 6 year anniversary. They should be celebrating what should have been the happiest time in their lives with this new addition to their family. He should not be spending it burying his wife.

I am heart sick for Timmy and the rest of your family. No one should have to deal with this kind of trial. I hope you know that we are all thinking of you and praying for you. Only time will heal this…
