This morning, my friend and (fellow blogger) Tammy shared #100happydays with me. I had never heard of it before. It sounded exactly like something I’d be interested in doing and would fit in perfectly with my blog so I checked it out on their website. This is what I found:
We live in times when super-busy schedules have become something to boast about. While the speed of life increases, there is less and less time to enjoy the moment that you are in. The ability to appreciate the moment, the environment and yourself in it, is the base for the bridge towards long term happiness of any human being.
Life truly gets too hectic sometimes and I need to slow down. This seems to be the same for most people I know, so for 100 days, I am going to find something that makes me happy. I might post it on here, or on twitter or facebook, but the goal is to make sure that everyday, I can find at least one thing that brought joy to my day.
I challenge you to do the same. Visit http://100happydays.com and sign up for the challenge. In 100 days, I am sure we will be happy that we did!!
My happy moment today was going to watch my husband’s softball game. Dave has been playing on this team, The Dirty Dogs for more than 20 years. Today, they were short a few players and DJ, now 17 and old enough to play, stepped up to the plate for the team. The new generation of Dogs that we joked about when DJ was born, actually came to fruition. As Drew and I sat on the bleachers watching, Drew decided that in just 5 years, it would be his turn too! #100happydays
