Newest Addition

This morning, (with the time difference…I think it was this morning….) the 16th great-grandchild in our family was born.  My 99 year old grandma is now the proud great-grandma of 8 boys and 8 girls.  This yet to be named little baby boy was born to my cousin Rachel and her husband Ben.  They live in Alaska – usually, but are living in France right now due to Ben’s graduate studies overseas.  French law requires that the baby is named by Saturday so we should know his name soon.  They are even asking for suggestions on Facebook.  They didn’t know if they were having a boy or a girl so it was a surprise for everyone!

Since they live so far away, we have only met one of their three children.  Thank goodness for Facebook because that is how all of us keep up to date with one another.  Ben has an incredible way with words and his blog, “Approximately Limitless” detailed the events of the delivery.

They recently moved to France and their family and friends were able to hear all about the excitement of her speedy labor and delivery.  We are all so happy that they have another healthy baby to add to their already beautiful family.  Congratulations Rachel and Ben!  We are so happy for you!
