Ensemble

It was back to school today after one of the longest holiday breaks I can remember!  Those twelve days were wonderful.  Family, friends, rest, relaxation – I had it all, and I loved every minute of it.  It was tough to get back, but I was ready.  I missed my classroom, missed my students and I missed my coworkers.  I think most of all, I missed the routine.  I am a creature of habit and I need routine in my life!

Today’s photo prompt was “Ensemble” which is defined on Yahoo as,

A unit or group of complementary parts that contribute to a single effect.

My 23 students are my very own ensemble.  All 23 of them, working together to form our own little community.  I missed them over the break and they all missed each other.  It was good to be back.
