Striking, today’s photo prompt was the perfect word to describe tonight’s sunset. I was leaving the hospital after visiting my dad so I wasn’t able to get the greatest shot of it but it was gorgeous! This shot is from the parking lot.
My dad is getting better. Every test is coming back negative. No explanation for why his fever would drop to 93 degrees. Perhaps a reaction to medication but they are still not sure. Now the problem is dealing with his non-working knees. He had therapy today and will have more tomorrow. After that, a decision will be made to decide where he will go next.
Ten days is a long time to be away from home and he’s getting stir crazy. We just have to make sure he is completely ready to leave unassisted before he goes back to his own home. Fingers crossed that happens soon.
